Over on the WaveTalks podcast, we had a super fun time hanging out with Joey Foy, boxing and MMA coach.

Here’s the recap…

Joey has over 10 years of experience in Mixed Martial Arts, and while he loves being an MMA athlete, he loves coaching other athletes more.  

Joey dives into the intricacies of what it means to coach boxing and MMA, and you can hear how all the passion he has for the sport is constantly moving him forward personally and professionally.

Now he can pass his incredible experience and skills to others for years to come, while staying a little safer outside the ring. 
  3. When it comes to training and learning new skills, do your research! As a coach, Joey is all about technique to keep you safe, and to help you become a skilled boxer/fighter, but not every coach is like him. With all the coaches and gyms out there, it’s hard to know where to go, so understanding your needs and goals is key in finding the best fit for you. (Obviously we think Joey is a top notch choice for building your boxing skills, though!)
