Meet the team
Coach Dee (aka Dianna)
She is a pre/postnatal fitness and corrective exercise specialist with over 6 years of experience in the fitness industry, and she has competed in 2 bikini fitness competitions. She has a plethora of experience in different industries including film, fashion retail and travel, but her aptitude for movement mechanics and passion for helping people are what finally led to her 3Wave Fitness. While she wasn’t a star in team sports, she grew up dancing, giving her an edge to excel in bodybuilding, and she makes her coworkers laugh constantly by dancing behind the scenes at 3Wave.
She loves dancing with her 2 cats, and can quote just about anything from Friends and The Office.
He’s a business development specialist, marketing advisor and certified personal trainer with over 20 years of experience. As a trainer, he specializes in tending to the mental health aspect of fitness, and as a human who’s managed to injure himself in every conceivable way, he’s great at helping others avoid his same fate. After making it as a punk rocker in a band back in the day, he transitioned his artistic skills into the video and media content you see us creating at 3Wave Fitness. Film-making started as a hobby but quickly turned into the means to create a business to help people get moving in a way that feels good. It’s also his excuse to spend as much time behind the camera VS in front of it!
He’s the valet of a Xolo (Mexican hairless dog), loves having philosophical discussions with everyone he meets and is generally in some state of rewatching Star Trek.
She’s a Kinesiologist, Fascial Stretch Specialist and personal trainer with over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, with specifications in rehab, athletic performance, concussion research and FASD. She’s worked with a multitude of athletes in volleyball, rugby, hockey and fencing. She slowly moved into educating and working with labour fields after she spent a few years in landscaping herself. She loves challenging herself to learn new ways of moving her body, and won’t just stop at Dragon Pistol Squats and Muscle Ups.
She has 2 cats, 1 chameleon and too many fish to count. When she’s not exercising, she’ll prune your plants or drop into a stretch to avoid sitting still, then when she’s sick of that she goes to every electronic musical festival she can get to.
